This is a Tumblr Cloud I generated from my blog posts between Aug 2009 and Mar 2010 containing my top 20 used words.
Not bad… I was expecting less.. lol
Pretty impressive how far this little girl has gone ..
…that FILIPINOS steal money.
Of course not ALL Filipinos… Just the ones that work at Empire, right?
RACIST ASSHOLES.
Three guys get sacked for stealing money, and “we” all become thieves.
So if being racist is the game… I should play too.
.. So if one “white person” can’t clean for shit, “you all” can’t.
.. If another “white person” is extremely lazy, “you all” are.
.. A “white person” takes money from behind the tills at night, and “you all” just laugh about it, “you” must all be hypocrites.
Realistically, however, I wouldn’t play that game because I wasn’t brought-up that way and I don’t think that way.
Theft of money doesn’t seem to be a new thing at GP, because word is, is that an individual of the “caucasian” race used to get away with stealing amounts in the 3-digit range on nights they would work a till. It doesn’t seem to be a big deal. More of a laughing matter, as I was told. Once a filipino steals, it becomes a huge deal, and then all of a sudden all filipinos in the workplace are assumed to be thieves.
It kind of makes you think…
If theft was going on for years before these three individuals even started working there, why so keen all of a sudden on taking protocol? I hope its not because they’re not “white” and all belong to the same “minority”. I also hope its not because some may be covering their own activities of theft, by emphasizing blame and all activity on the “minority”. Check your cameras, carefully. A “white” person has been seen with a pen in their till to keep it open on many occasions.
Don’t get me wrong, though. Theft is wrong and those who commit the crime, should do the time. Theft is theft, no matter what “colour” you are. Its bad, and that’s that. Karma’s a bitch, don’t you know?! Work for your money, dumbass.
But seriously, to those of you who are passing judgement on filipinos…
Get out of your fucked up, little, racist shells.
*you know you’re guilty..
“Don’t send her back to the Box Office, she’ll steal money”
- a joke that was said by someone who i’ve heard, stole from the theatre on several occasions before. This was after a manager told me to go back to the box office once I was done helping clean.
“Why is she scared? Does she think she’s gonna be next?”
- a comment that was said the night when the three individuals got questioned by Loss Prevention, after I stated that my younger sister was worried. Worried because she didn’t want to close the concession on her own, NOT BECAUSE SHE STEALS.
“Don’t go near my til, you’re filipino”
- a “harmless” joke, at the time.. but it was still insensitive, especially after recent events.
I was not brought-up to be a thief, and I believe in karma.
End of story.
Wishing you all a great year ahead.

New Decade, New Challenges.
Keep laughing, live fully, love abundantly, grow always.

I thought being out of school would allow me a little more time to myself.
Wrong, wrong, WRONG.
It goes,
Work, eat, sleep, work, drive, drive ,drive, work, drive, drive, sleep, work, work.
= Boring, boring, boring, boring.
I haven’t been on a plane in a month.
My life feels incomplete.
Here I sit, with my mandarin sugar babies flown in from Vancouver, from Kin’s.. just as I like ‘em. A good reminder of how much I want to be there right now.
Yes, I am in Winnipeg. *womp, womp* =( =(
Since my last post, I’ve completed my course at Blanche, survived seven days straight in Winnipeg, and have been living here for more than a month, did the bi-annual Vegas weekend, toxicated myself as an sq, worked like a dog, but haven’t done any makeup. =(
No motivation in this city. I’ve had more shitty days, than good ones.
Winnipeg.. what are you doing to me?
Oh, and as for the break-in of my car from last post.. I found out the next day that one other thing was stolen..
The fabric softener.
wth. hahaha.
I should really be working on my character chart. .. after all, it is the last one I have to hand in! =) =)
buuut, we all know how it goes…
*slacks off*
*writes in blog*
So today is one of those unfortunate days where nothing seems to go right.
I was almost late for school.
My car got broken into. I didn’t realize until Fiona and I stepped out to find my trunk open. It tied in to why the contents of my glove compartment was spilt out. The coin compartment was dry. They didn’t steal my iphone dock, they didn’t steal my shoes, my sweater, my raptors basketball lol, and thankfully didn’t steal my laundry detergent. LOL.
WTH.
Its raining hard, my shoes suck.
I got lost somewhere in Burnaby after driving Fiona Kwack-head home.
aaaand, my final is tomorrow.
With all this bad luck today, lets hope people’s “good luck” wishes for tomorrow actually works.
4 hours ‘til I leave for the airport. Its going to be my last home-to-school commute.
WOOOW. Time zoomed.
The last 11 months have been an absolute blessing. I peeked at my binder with the course dates and changes earlier tonight, and it was a little flashback of every single module, every little memory. A reminder of a freaking gongshow. Holy, man.
I can’t believe it. It felt like just yesterday, when I was blogging about how nervous I was about being away but how much I anticipated the change .
Now here I am, over a year later, blogging about how the last year has been one of the greatest.
If I didn’t open my heart and open my eyes to the changes I needed to make over the last 2 years, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
Of course, everything happens for a reason.. and I’m glad I made the choice to put my faith in the Big Dude.
Faith. Courage. Wisdom. Growth.
